Band Camp Information
Rehearsals, Performances, and Attendance
- Band camp, rehearsals, and performances are required to be a member of the band. Please see our Google Calendar for all dates and times of these events.
- Students who miss Band Camp are not guaranteed a spot in the field show
- Physical forms (signed by a doctor) are required by all students by the start of band camp; upload to Dragonfly, bring it in person, or email a clean copy to [email protected].
- Wear outdoor-appropriate clothing to all rehearsals, including: t-shirts, shorts, tennis shoes, sunglasses and/or hats, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
- DO NOT wear jeans, pants, open-toed shoes, and high-top shoes.
- Lunch will NOT be provided during band camp - students should bring lunch or money to go get food (if parents/guardians give students permission to leave campus), and bring snacks for breaks.
- All food must be thrown away in the dumpsters, NOT in the band room.
- Food and drinks (other than water) are not allowed to be open or consumed in the band room; students may eat outside in the shaded areas.
- All students MUST bring a reusable water bottle with their name labeled.
- Students should eat a healthy breakfast and drink water before band camp everyday; we will be outside in the heat for many hours every day.
- Band fees are $300 for the year, with an additional $40 for those needing marching shoes, and an additional $100 for colorguard.
- The first $75 fee payment and $40 shoe payment is due the final day of camp - July 30.
- Bring your instrument, equipment, accessories, sheet music, and other materials/supplies everyday.
