- Winter concert - The winter concert was a huge hit! Tons of parents, teachers, community members, and more have reached out to tell me how well you all did. Thank you for your hard work putting the music together so quickly and dealing with the cold (especially colorguard in marching uniforms!).

- December 9 - Barton Academy concert, volunteers be in auditorium by 5:30pm (Volunteers are needed to help move equipment, operate lights/sound mixer)
- December 12 - Univ. of South Alabama Jaguar Marching Band recruitment visit during 7th period
- Next week
- December 16 - Phillips Prep concert, , volunteers be in auditorium by 5:30pm (Volunteers are needed to help move equipment, operate lights/sound mixer)
- December 17 - Scale pass-off #2 due
- Every student must submit a video of themselves playing once scale and arpeggio by 11:59pm on Wednesday December 17.
- The video can be submitted through Schoology or by email to [email protected].
- December 18 - optional Pep rally for alumni in auditorium
- Call time 5:30pm/Performance 6:00pm/Dismissed by 7:30pm
- January 7 - Band pictures, starting immediately after school ends
- Students can leave once their pictures are taken
- Attire - marching band uniform

- January 12-13 - MCPSS Honor Band @ Theodore HS
- Anyone can attend the concert on Tuesday night to support Murphy band students
