The Murphy High School Band's Middle School Night will be October 4th at the Murphy vs. Theodore football game (at Ladd-Peebles Stadium); this event is open to any 7-9 grade Band students as well as students interested in colorguard (flags).
Students will rehearse with the Murphy Band, be fed pizza and sodas, be bussed to the stadium, perform on the field prior to the start of the game, and perform in the stands during the game. Students should be picked up from the stadium after halftime and MUST be checked out by a parent/guardian before they can leave. Students will be admitted to the game for free, but any family or friends wishing to attend must purchase tickets: gofan.co/app/school/AL13529?activity=Football&location=Home&level=Varsity.
Students should wear their middle school band shirt/jacket OR a uniform shirt and uniform pants. Students should bring their own sticks, reeds, mouthpieces, etc. Please indicate on the Google Form if you need to borrow an instrument and we will try to accommodate if we can. Physical copies of the sheet music will be provided to all participants, and is available at the bottom of this page below the Google Form.
